Hello everyone! Sorry I missed the meeting last week. I was on spring break with my 6 year old. Looking forward to meeting you all! 

I'm the Director of Special Projects at The Network: Advocating Against Domestic Violence. One of the “special projects” I manage is our Survivor Crisis Fund that started in April 2020 due to a generous donation prompted by the Covid pandemic. By the end of 2022, we had given out about $1M in grants directly to survivors by using Word & Excel docs and emails… and then we needed to scale up so we found Submittable. In 2023 we gave out almost $7M to over 5,000 survivors of gender-based violence in Chicagoland.
